I just got back from errands and realized I forgot all about the finals of the end of year championships that started at 3pm, and now it's 5.  Fortunately there is a lot left.  The Djoker won the first set in a tiebreaker, but Roger is up a break in the second.

Glad you laughed.  After I sent that one I was worried that it was all way too gross for a refined woman such as yourself.  Happy to see I was wrong about that!  My British friend was not amused...  I finally did get my cards, and now am going to do a little envelope stuffing tonite.  I was at the beer store, and this slim young suburbanite pulled up and parked in the handicapped space.  When we were both leaving I got a chance to rag on her.  She said she had to park there cuz there was a line of 5 cars down the side of the store and she had no place else.  She would have had to walk maybe 70 or 80 feet to the door of the store.  So I said, um, you CAN walk, can't you?  It may have escaped you, but these spaces are for people who can't walk very far.  Like me.  I have 26% lung capacity though I don't look it, and I don't park in the handicapped spaces because I don't have a placard, yet, and it is big time against the law.  People like you make me sick.  If I were leaning on my walker with my nose hose for Oxygen and you pulled up ahead of me and parked in the HC spot, would you still be telling me you "had to" park there, when really you just didn't want to walk a few extra feet?  When I get my card, I'll really lay into people like you!

Well, I wish I said all that, but actually just said you know this is a handicapped spot don't you, and laughed when she gave the lame excuse.

I was looking at ads for elderly community apartments, and found one in Cambridge between Central and Harvard Sq.  Studios and one bedrooms mostly with balconies.  Some are subsidized rents, but I couldn't get a hold of a live human to find out about them.  It could be as little as 8 or 900 bucks I think.  But it's probably just a tease, and they have a 5 year waiting list.  I'll keep looking though.  Since all Chris was going to do for me is not RAISE the rent from the last tenant, I think I can do better.

Roger was serving for the second set, up 40-15, but the Djoker came up with 4 straight points, and Roger has to serve to get into a second set tiebreaker.  High drama.  I can't believe it.  Djoker broke Rog to take the second set, the match, the championship, the title of number one for the year. and a spot in history!  I was sure there would be a third set.  Roger gave a very gracious speech, and Djoker too.  These guys are really great.  On the way home, I sent to a couple stores to check out over the ear headphones for better sound when I am at home, now that I got the amplifier.  At best buy they had a few that you could listen to their canned music with, but not try them with your own player.  I told the guy I'm not paying 300 bucks for something I can't even test out with my own music that I'm going to use it for, and left.  At staples after I got my cards, they had a display of phones that you COULD use with "your device" as they say.  So I tried them.  The thirty buck ones were not too bad, actually better than the 50 buck ones.  The  200 and 300 buck ones were a little better in the high end, but they all had this overpowering, awful booming bass.  So I told the guy that the 300 dollar ones were marginally better than my two dollar ones I'm using now.
He was like, well you know you're paying for the names on these.  One was "by Dr. Dre", and the other was from Ludicris.  Now remember, these are two Rappers who don't even make MUSIC.  I said yah back in the day, we paid for names too, but the names were Dr. Koss, and Dr. Sennheiser.  Then I admitted to being a crusty old fart and went home.

Treadmill was fine today, haven't used the meter yet.  I woke up with a ton of phlegm, and took about an hour to get it under control with the Mucinex, the nebulizer, and three inhalers.  Didn't hear back from Stacey either, come to think of it.  Hope they haven't ruled me out for not following up for a while.  If they did, I'll just have to go somewhere else.  As it happens, Duke, in NC takes a lot of cases, including second transplants who get rejected elsewhere.  They seem to get done in a matter of weeks or a couple months there too.  If I had to I could find a flophouse in downtown Durham and do the process there, and have my family there as support.  They're gonna love that!

Sorry you're not feeling well.  If you're going to drink, you have to train for it.  By drinking.  Every day.  There are no shortcuts.  For now, just puke and get it over with and go to bed.  Feel better and talk later.
